As a little kid, if you asked Hero what she wanted to be when she grew up she would have enthusiastically shouted “Rockstar!!”
In fifth grade she began teaching herself guitar, in sixth grade she began teaching herself ukulele, and by high school she had begun teaching herself piano.
In middle school, Hero joined her school’s rock band where she met Phil Jones, the man who would later produce her first single, Satanic Saints, and first EP, Butterscotch.
Born an artist

Hero’s debut single Satanic Saints began as a clunky idea quickly strummed in her basement bedroom. Depicting the internal battle of choosing to leave something not serving you, even through the fear of being on your own.
With the help of Phil Jones, the single set a precedent for the deep-feeling and complex musical world-building Hero would continue to incorporate throughout the rest of her music.
Satanic Saints

At the end of 2020, Hero painted a still life of a bowl of candy. On the bottom of the painting she wrote ‘Butterscotch’ telling herself that one day she would record and album and title it by the same name.
Two years later, Butterscotch was shared with the world.
A five song EP, Hero explored different genres and the process of letting her music come to life.
With the release of the EP, Hero sold-out her release party tickets and received a December 2022 Artist of the Month spot from local Denver radio station, Indie 102.3

Beyond the Ring is an originally written musical co-written by Hero and her creative partner, Conrad Branch.
Written over three years while in high school together, the two held a casual read through party with friends and family August of 2023. This inspired a new goal to put on a larger, more polished production the following summer.
After a year of research, fine tuning, and casting, Conrad and Hero began rehearsing with their cast in June 2024.
By the end of the month, they held two performance nights at Park Hill UCC in front of full audiences.
